In general there are four types of window film or specifications:
- =UVT ( ultr violet Transmittance ) . As we know UV rays are harmful to humans , but these rays also can make the interior of our cars become dull and damaged . The smaller the window film UVT the ability to block the light of this the better . In general, well-known brand of window film has a spec UVT = 1 % and UVR ( Ultraviolet Reflectance ) = 99 % . UVR is the inverse of UVT .
- VLT ( Visible Light Transmittance ) . VLT is the amount of light passing through the glass films . Kalu market is often referred to by numbers eg 60 window film , window film 40 and higher numbers indicate sebagainya.Semakin window film is getting dark and the smaller the incoming light . Selection of window film to the VLT need special attention to the dark . Dark window film is very useful for hot weather , but even for cloudy weather and night, it will be very difficult for the driver's view . The best solution is to add power light bulbs in order to facilitate the driver's car .
- IRR ( Infra Red Reflectance ? Rejected ) . The higher spec % IRR on window film , the ability to reject solar radiation the better and certainly will not be easy to heat the cabin . It is certainly memabntu AC performance cars and of course have an impact on fuel use .
- TSER ( Total Solar Energy Rejected ) . TSER is almost equal to the IRR . The larger spec % TSER the window film 's ability to resist heat better
